Mother's Day Mini Album

I recently went to a scrapbooker's retreat at Sunnybrae Bible Camp with my mother and a friend of hers. We set up out scrapbooking supplies on a table and had the luxury of working on scrapbooking for three full days without having to clean up our mess. I worked on a scrapbook album of my Europe 2009 trip. It was so much fun and full of looking back on memories :)  After the scrapbook retreat, I decided to use my newly learned skills and put them to the test. After about 6 hours (in between laundry, cleaning, housework, etc), I finished a full mini album for my mother!!  It was almost impossible to keep secret, as I was so proud of myself for thinking of making an album and for actually having the patience to make it.

Here is a link to the mini album tutorial :  http://www.papervinenz.com/2011/10/folded-paper-mini-albums-tutorial.html?showComment=1336782670943    I give full credit to the ladies on Papervine blog, for the tutorial. This tutorial was super easy to follow, and I am very pleased with my outcomes.

Here is a roll of photos that I took of the album. Hope you like it and find it inspiring!! Thank-You again to PaperVines for the tutorial :)

Loving the Xyron for making stickers, and the Cricket for making designs

Dear Fellow Readers:

My name is Katelynn. I am an avid scrapbooker and card maker. I have just decided to start a blog, and to post some of my finished creations / projects. I am a busy University Student full time from September to May, then a full-time working student in the summer. So needless to say, I will probably very rarely post blogs!!  I hope you enjoy the stuff I do post anyways :)
